I started my training in counselling in 1992 before gaining a BSc (Honours) in Psychology. I undertook a Masters in Health Psychology before completing further qualifications to specialise in Counselling Psychology.
I am a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Psychologist, a Chartered Scientist and an Associate Fellow of the BPS. In addition, I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), which is the government’s regulatory body for health, psychological and social work professionals.
I have a wealth of experience of working with a range of psychological issues, which I have gained from working within the NHS, charitable and private sectors. I established Riverside Psychology Service in 2008 to provide an empathic, professional and flexible service for those who wish to seek professional support to overcome their emotional difficulties. I provide individual therapy for private clients as well for those referred through insurance companies, rehabilitation companies and employee assistant programmes (EAPs).
As a Chartered Psychologist I abide by British Psychological Society’s (BPS) code of ethics. You can be assured of a professional and confidential service.
