From compassionate understanding to creating meaningful change
There are times in life when things simply feel harder than they should. You may be feeling anxious much of the time, overwhelmed by your emotions, caught in patterns that seem difficult to change, or finding that your confidence has gradually disappeared.
Sometimes there is a clear reason why life has become difficult. At other times, people come to therapy knowing that something doesn’t feel quite right, but they’re not always sure why.
Whatever has brought you here, you don’t need to have all the answers before starting therapy. My aim is to offer a warm, confidential and professional space where you feel heard, understood and supported as we begin to make sense of your experiences together.
One of the things I value most about being a psychologist is helping people see themselves with greater curiosity and compassion. From listening to many stories, I’ve learnt that many of the ways we think, feel and respond to life’s challenges are understandable adaptations. Clients are doing their best with strategies that once helped them cope but may no longer be useful.
My earlier training in Health Psychology allows a greater understanding of the mind-body link and creates a clearer whole picture. Supporting people as they recognise these patterns and explore new ways forward is truly fulfilling. Experiences that once felt confusing start to make sense, opening the door to change, greater confidence, and a stronger connection with who they are.
Together, we will work towards a life shaped by your values, choices, and what matters most to you, rather than old patterns.

Therapy tailored to you
I draw on a range of evidence-based psychological approaches and am mindful of best practice and NICE guidance. However, therapy is most effective when it is tailored to you.
Approaches may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) informed approaches and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Lasting change…
It grows through understanding, self-compassion and the confidence to try something different. My hope is that therapy helps you move forward with greater clarity, making choices that reflect your values and support the life you want to live.
